Personality/Unique Characteristics:
Slyder is almost always the favorite when he performs! He is goofy and silly and very, very
loveable. His nickname is "Shammy". He likes to greet people by putting his long nose between
your legs and startling you into petting him. If this doesn't work he might try jumping up on
you and hugging you with his long legs. He is lightening fast and enthusiastic
when performing. He is a very quiet dog and hardly utters a sound ever. Slyder is very still
when he is being petted by fans. Just look into those brown eyes and you can see he loves everyone.
If he had it his way, he wouldn't eat at all. Slyder isn't food motivated and if
we didn't separate him from the other Busy Bee Dogs they would quickly gobble his food! He loves to play and be your friend.
Slyder is a sweet boy.

Animal Planet's Pet Star 2004 - Drag Racing Dogs Runner Up in Race
Slyder competes annually at UC Davis' Annual Picnic Day competition where he is against up to 60 dogs. He has won in April 2003
and placed second in 2005!
